Real Estate Video Costs in Ontario: 2026 Rates and Quote Checklist

Real Estate Video Costs in Ontario: 2026 Rates and Quote Checklist

Real estate video costs depend on what is being produced. On-site filming, a video made from supplied photographs and a combined photo-and-video package involve different work. Compare those options separately before choosing a budget for an Ontario listing.

Melon Media’s published video rates

The table below records Melon Media’s listed rates checked on 10 October 2026. These are our prices, not an Ontario-wide market average. All amounts are in Canadian dollars before applicable tax.

Check the current video service page before booking. Rates, source-file requirements, final deliverables and timing need to be confirmed for the selected property and production method.

Understand what each option covers

Essential Video is an on-site cinematic property video. Its final length, versions and delivery date are confirmed in the agreed scope.

Signature Video Only is an AI-assisted video built from photographs you provide. The studio reviews the supplied material and creative requirements; this is not an appointment to photograph or film the home.

Neither video-only option automatically includes a photography session. If you need both, compare the photo and video packages instead of adding assumed photo coverage to a video quote.

Check the items that can change the scope

  • Access and preparation: occupied rooms, building arrangements and multiple locations.
  • Additional coverage: drone work, a separate twilight visit or agent presentation.
  • Deliverables: vertical edits, branded and unbranded versions, captions or extra languages.
  • Timing and review: the required launch date, revision allowance and approval deadlines.

These are questions to resolve, not a claim that every item carries an extra fee. Ask the provider to identify what is included and price any additions in writing.

Compare the final quote, not just its headline

Use the same property size and deliverable list when requesting quotes. Check the total after applicable tax, payment schedule, travel arrangements, cancellation terms and usage rights. A lower starting price may describe a different product.

Our Toronto listing video guide helps you prepare that brief. Choose the scope around what buyers need to understand about the home; no production budget can guarantee enquiries, offers or a sale price.

Frequently asked questions

Are vertical and unbranded edits included?

Only when listed in the agreed scope. Specify the intended channels before production so the correct versions can be quoted.

How do I budget for a larger or unusual property?

Provide the size, location, access details and desired deliverables. Request a written quote where the published size bands do not cover the project.
